SKIN COLLECTION, 2014

As an extended collection of ‘Aesthetics of Curves’, this collection was inspired by Antonio Gaudi’s quotation, ‘Straight lines belong to human, curves to God”. The floating wefts created curves as it was hanged on the wall due to gravity. <Backwards> exhibition presented Kim's interpretation of nature through three-dimensional works utilizing various tools and advanced technology, including floor loom, Dobby, Jacquard, Knitting, Heat-reactive materials and 3-D printing.
